If you’re affiliated with any of the participating JULAC institutions, you can publish your article open access with fees covered in more than 1,900 journals across the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Nature portfolio.
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Nature has agreed a transformative agreement (TA) in Hong Kong with all member libraries of the Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC).
The three-year agreement, effective 01 January 2024, will allow affiliated authors* to publish OA with fees covered in more than 1,900 hybrid journals published by Â鶹ֱ²¥ Nature. As part of the agreement, you will be able to read, use and reuse research published in over 2,000 journals across the Â鶹ֱ²¥ and Adis portfolios.
*The corresponding author serves as the primary point of contact for correspondence with Â鶹ֱ²¥ Nature following editorial acceptance. When articles involve multiple authors, only the corresponding author qualifies as the affiliated author.
The OA publication service for the following institutions has reached its maximum article allowance. This means the agreement is no longer covering OA publishing fees until further notice.
- The Education University of Hong Kong
The option to publish OA via Â鶹ֱ²¥ Open Choice is still available to affiliated authors, but the publishing fee will not be covered under the agreement. Authors should use alternative funding sources in order to publish OA or proceed with publication under subscription until the agreement is reactivated. If you need advice on what OA funding is available to you, please visit our funding & support service page. For more information, please contact oa.verification@springernature.com. Alternatively, contact the OA team at your institution.
